HHP 3800LR

The 3800LR linear barcode scanner from Hand Held Products combines high performance with superior durability for high-volume and rough environments. Using linear imaging technology, the 3800LR sets a new standard in automatic data collection by combining a bright, sharp aiming line with high resolution imaging to deliver exceptional reads. Well-suited for outdoor applications, the 3800LR functions equally as well in bright sunlight as it does indoors.

Contoured to fit all sized hands, the 3800LR barcode scanner sports a soft grip for comfort and control. The 3800LR connects to all popular PCs, Apple MAC, and portable data terminals. Models are available for both IBM retail terminals (4683/93, OCIA) and PDF417 applications.

The HHP 3800LR has been discontinued and replaced by the 3800g.

With a scan and decode rate of 270 lines per second and a reading width of 5 inches at up to 7 inches away, the 3800LR is a strong performer. Add a shock rating of normal operation after 50 drops to concrete from 5 foot heights and you've got a winning combination.
