My APG USB Cash Drawer stops working regularly with Windows unless you unplug it and plug it back in.
Answer
In Windows 8 and onward there are additional power settings in Windows for some USB connected APG Cash Drawers (APG Model 554A USB). Please see this article on APG's website for instructions on how to correct those settings.
