For 20 mil barcodes, you get a scan range of 4.5 inches to almost 7 feet, ideal for scanning hard to reach barcodes. 100 mil reflective barcodes can be read from over 54 feet away, making this a smart choice for shipping and other logistics applications.

Honeywell built the Granit 1280i to survive extreme use and abuse. The scanner features a rubberized rugged housing, protecting it from drops of 6 feet to concrete. Reinforced gasket sealing provides an IP65 seal, completely sealed against dust and also low pressure water sprays.
