If you need to scan 2D barcodes quickly and efficiently, the Honeywell Genesis MS7580 is your scanner. The Genesis features a presentation-style design, allowing you to scan barcodes in hands-free mode. With a motion tolerance of 200 cm/sec, barcodes can fly past the scanner and still be read, excellent for busy retailers or high-volume scanning environments. The imager on the Genesis features the same strength expected from Metrologic, able to scan dirty, damaged, or otherwise unreadable barcodes easily and accurately. Advanced data parsing and manipulation is also available, making the Genesis an excellent addition to any barcode scanning environment.
Drivers license barcode scanning is a snap with the scanner's EasyID option. This software comes preloaded on the EasyID version and makes parsing license information, like birthday and customer name, a snap.
