ID TECH’s EconoScan CCD Scanner is specially designed to deliver high-end performance at the lowest possible price. The scanner utilizes exceptional decoding technology.

Scanning the set-up bar codes in the handy user’s manual makes for easy, one-time programming. For non-contact environments, or for larger bar codes, the EconScan can read bar codes of up to 4.7 inches in length at a distance of 4.7 inches for an economical alternative to laser scanning.

The EconoScan enables quick contact scanning of bar codes up to 3.5 inches in length. With a scan rate of 150 scans per second, low-quality, damaged, small or high-density bar codes are read with exceptional speed and accuracy.

This rugged scanner contains no moving parts, yet is exceptionally lightweight and designed to fit comfortably in the hand for extended periods of use. The detachable cable makes for easy replacement or the use of multiple interfaces for interchangable connectivity.

The EconoScan has reached end of life, with minimal stock remaining. We recommend the IDTech EconoScan II as a suitable replacement.
