The Datalogic PowerScan PM8500 barcode scanner gives you high end industrial 2D scanning wherever you need it. This cordless scanner uses a 433 MHz or 910 MHz radio to communicate with the host station from up to 164 feet away. If you need more than just basic scanning, the PowerScan PM8500 also comes with an optional LCD display and three function buttons.
Available with your choice of standard range, high density, or wide angle scan engine, the PowerScan PM8500 has a model that meets your specific scanning requirements. A five-dot aiming system improves scanning accuracy, and Datalogic's 3GL system provides scan feedback in noisy environments, illuminating the barcode just scanned and two green LEDs on the scanner itself.
The reinforced body seals the PowerScan PM8500 from dirt and water at an IP65 rating, meaning no dust nor low pressure jets of water can harm the internal components. It can also resist drops of 50 feet to concrete and operate in temperatures as low as 14° F, making this a great outdoor or warehouse scanner.
