The Symbol LS3008 rugged barcode scanner provides affordable performance and durability in a lightweight, ergonomic design.

The LS3008 features a single board construction, eliminating failure points most commonly associated with connecting ribbon cables. It also utilizes a multi-line rastering scan pattern, allowing it to capture data from tiny, stacked, or even poorly printed barcodes. Constructed with an IP53 sealing, the LS3008 can be safely wiped down and sanitized, making it ideal for hospital and lab environments.

"The rugged design of the LS3008 and IP54 seal make it an ideal fit in environments that are rougher than standard retail or light industrial locations. The rasterizing scan engine allows the scanner to effectively read damaged, dirty, or otherwise unreadable barcodes by creating an aggregate scan of all the “readable” locations. As such, the scanner would fit well in rough/warehouse style retail, light industrial, health care, or even standard industrial environments."
