The Symbol LS3578 cordless industrial scanner features two models utilizing two methods of enhancing scanning ability, Fuzzy Logic or Extended Range. Both scanners feature Symbol's industrial design specs, giving them the durability to withstand multiple 6.5' drops as well as the rigors of harsh industrial environments.
LS3578FZ: Symbol's Fuzzy Logic technology allows the scanner to interpret the data encoded in a barcode even if it is worn, dirty, or damaged. This increases efficiency and allows the scanner to perform in environments where barcodes generally become unreadable.
LS3578ER: The Extended Range technology in the LS3578ER allows it to read barcodes from up to 18' away, ideal for large warehouse environments where inventory may be on pallets that are not within reach.
