Windows Mobile 6.5 drives software on the Elf, giving you the features of a modern mobile platform while maintaining compatibility with legacy Windows Mobile applications.
Built with single-hand use in mind, the Elf's tapered design improves usability and ergonomics. A built-in accelerometer automatically rotates the screen, eliminating awkward display of on screen data, exellent for delivery signing applications. The sleek design of the Elf belies its phenomenal durability, giving you a drop resistance of 5 feet to concrete. In addition, the durable design seals the mobile computer to an IP64 rating, completely keeping out dust and resisting water splashes from any angle.
The Elf comes with your choice of laser scanner or 2D imager, using Datalogic's Green Spot technology to visually identify good reads. To maintain communication, the Elf comes standard with 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth radios. GPS is an option on additional models, making route navigation a snap.
