Entry Level Mobile Computers

Heavy Industrial Mobile Computers
Designed to stand up to the harshest environments and roughest use, heavy industrial mobile computers are the toughest devices on the market. With advanced sealing and thicker, rugged bodies, heavy industrial mobile computers can survive being immersed in water or even thrown from a moving car. These devices are often larger, requiring a hand-grip for easier use, and feature advanced barcode scanning technologies, such as long range, fuzzy logic, or 2D imaging. Wireless communications methods such as Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g wifi, or even cellular networks make sure data is synchronized as needed.

Batch Memory Scanners
If you just need to scan a lot of barcodes and that's about it, batch memory scanners have you set. These are smaller devices that store the barcodes on built-in memory, then batch send all the barcodes during a synchronization process. The Symbol CS1504 and Opticon OPN2001 both are keychain-sized devices, providing data storage in a small package. For more advanced batch barcode scanning, the Symbol P360/P460 allows for basic data editing in a phaser-style body.

PDA/PDT Accessories
These accessories work with standard PDAs or PDTs lacking in barcode scanners or options for magnetic card reading. Designed to interface with Compact Flash or SDIO ports, PDA/PDT Accessories are an economical way to add barcode scanning to your existing mobile setup without having to purchase entirely new mobile computers.
