The Janam XM series mobile barcode scanner puts the power of Windows Mobile or Windows CE 5.0 into the same ruggedized body as their popular Palm XP series, providing versatility in a familiar form factor. The XM series uses Adaptus Imaging Technology to guarantee fast and accurate 1D and 2D (optional) barcode reading, essential for demanding inventory or field work. An IP54 seal protects the XM series from wind and rain, while the ruggedized, attractive body keeps it safe from 4' drops to concrete.

Liked: Nice form factor. Rugged. Windows Mobile. Adaptus barcode scanner.
Did not like: Cable connection is weak. Doesnt seat well in the cradle sometimes.
Additional Info: This is a well designed barcode scanner with a rugged but ergonomic form factor. The barcode scanner trigger buttons are easy to click with your thumb. The accessories a bit pricy though. Weve used this product extensively with our <a href="http://www.posguys.com/proxis-pos-barcode-software+106/">Stock Manager and Barcode+</a> applications.
