Elo monitors are renowned for quality and are a mainstay in the monitor industry. This 1515L Elo 15 inch touch monitor is no acception and is a reliable addition to any point-of-sale (POS), point-of-service, loyalty system, kiosk information system (KIS), interactive advertising display or guest check in application.
The 1515L touchscreen monitor was created to be a cost-effective solution for customers with system integration needs. It combines the award winning, agency approved touchscreen technology of Elo with intuitive monitor design and affordability. It supports multiple touch technologies including AccuTouch (Resistive), Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR), IntelliTouch (Capacitive) and Projected Capacitive (Multi-Touch). The 1515L optimal screen resolution is 1280 x 1024 but allows for many variations. (See data sheet for details.)
For added security, the base of the 1515L touch monitor sports mounting holes on the bottom and is removable, allowing for VESA pole mounting. The monitor interfaces to the computer via a dual serial or USB interface and is internally powered but also has a jack to accept power from an optional external power brick.

This model is very basic, and as such is a great starter monitor. One feature that isn’t basic, but we suggest giving a shot, is the APR technology. It allows better brightness and clarity than Resistive technology, is more durable and still allows the use of gloved hand or any available stylus to operate.
