The 1522L 15 inch touch monitor demonstrates the same elegant, space saving design as the 1529L but is more cost efficient for the end user. All of the 1522L touch monitors are ROHS compliant meaning they are manufactured in a way that restricts hazardous materials like lead or cadmium. Its optional integrated magnetic stripe reader (MSR) is programmable to either HID or keyboard emulation (USB only) and is easily installed by the user, eliminating the need for external brackets or attachments. The monitor comes with either a short or tall stand and is available in two colors, dark grey or beige.
For use in public areas the monitor’s external controls can be locked and for added stability, holes in the base allow it to be securely fixed to the counter or desktop surface. Cables are also conveniently hidden from the user’s view via professional cable management.
This monitor could easily be mistaken for the 1529L version, even the specifications are close with the only major difference being in the brightness of the screen and the quantity of colors. Elo wanted a quality affordable monitor with its own range of accessories, this is it.
