The Symbol DS9808 omnidirectional barcode scanner gives any high volume retail or grocery environment the ultimate in barcode scanning. With the ability to scan barcodes moving as quickly as 100 inches per second, no barcode is getting past this scanner. Designed as both a handheld and hands-free scanner, the DS9808 features a trigger sensor on the base to switch from autosense to triggered scanning mode, eliminating the need to configure the scanner or place in an awkward autosense stand.
Optional models feature both a 2D imager as well as a long range laser scanner, promoting accuracy during handheld mode and fast scanning in hands-free mode. While in laser mode, the DS9808 boasts a scan range of up to 18" for 13 mil UPC barcodes, fantastic for scanning large, bulky, or hard to orient products.
With aggressive scanning, advanced data parsing, and optional laser scanning, the DS9808 is the ultimate two-in-one barcode scanning solution for any high volume scanning environment.
