The Star Micronics DP8340 has reached end of life. It has been replaced by the Star Micronics SP500 Series.
A heavy-duty, reliable, yet affordable workhorse, the DP8340 impact printer offers two-color, wide-format
dot-matrix printing in black and red ink. The DP8340 accepts paper widths from 3.25 inches up to 4.5 inches
and features a 3" print width.
With a print speed of 2-lines per second, 9-pin printhead resolution and two
popular interface choices, the DP8340 is an economical solution for customer receipts, guest checks, orders,
and label printing.
