Performance wax ribbons are used mainly indoors, not ideal for the extremes of outdoor weather. Resin ribbons are effective in most environments (make sure you get labels that also withstand the environment) but as a result are more expensive than wax ribbons. We recommend the wax resin combinations for use in printing barcode labels due to their versatility and great price.
