Wax ribbons are best for general purpose indoor labeling but combination Wax/Resin ribbons are the most versatile, offering moderate scratch, abrasion and mild chemical resistance. Resin ribbons are usually more expensive than their counterparts but they provide the most durability and resistance to harsh environmental conditions. (chemicals, constant exposure to sunlight and the elements) Not all enterprises need a Resin ribbon's permanancy, thus we suggest a Wax/Resin combo for most labeling needs.
